- Maasdam est un village qui fait partie de la commune de Hoeksche Waard dans la province néerlandaise de Hollande-Méridionale. Le 1er janvier 2006, le village comptait 3 310 habitants. Maasdam a été une commune indépendante jusqu'au 1er janvier 1984. Elle a fusionné avec Puttershoek, Mijnsheerenland, Westmaas et Heinenoord pour former la nouvelle commune de Binnenmaas. La localité produit le fromage de Maasdam.

- Maasdam is een dorp in de Nederlandse provincie Zuid-Holland. Het is gelegen ongeveer 14 km ten zuiden van de stad Rotterdam in de gemeente Hoeksche Waard. Maasdam is ook de naam van de voormalige gemeente. Maasdam heeft zijn geografische naam te danken aan de dam die hier in de rivier de Maas werd gebouwd in de 13e eeuw. Het aantal inwoners per 1 januari 2021 bedroeg 3.235 (bron: CBS). Maasdam ligt aan een van de twee kommen van de Binnenbedijkte Maas. De andere ligt in Westmaas. (nl)
