British rock band Coldplay have received numerous awards, nominations, and honorary accolades throughout their career. They were formed in London by Chris Martin (lead vocals, piano), Jonny Buckland (guitar), Guy Berryman (bass guitar), Will Champion (drums, percussion) and Phil Harvey (creative direction).
