K. S. Chithra (born 27 July 1963) is an Indian playback singer. Chithra's career began after she teamed up with music director M. G. Radhakrishnan in 1979 and sang few songs for him in Malayalam cinema. In 1985, after she was widely acclaimed for her rendition in the Tamil film Sindhu Bhairavi composed by Ilaiyaraaja, she began to get offers from all the South Indian film industries.
