Katie True (born January 16, 1941) is an American Republican politician, and former member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. True was born in Baltimore, Maryland but moved to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania as a youth. She is a graduate of J. P. McCaskey High School. After her defeat in 2000, True served as the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Commission for Women under Governor Tom Ridge. In the 2002 election, True was elected to represent the 41st legislative district in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. She retired prior to the 2010 election.
