Joseph Barbanègre (22 August 1772 – 7 November 1830) was a French General and a Baron of the First French Empire. He was governor of the Fortress of Huningue during the siege of the 1815 and held out until the end of hostilities, surrendering the place with full military honours on 26 August 1815.

(fr) Joseph Barbanègre (22 Agustus 1772 – 7 November 1830) merupakan seorang jenderal Prancis dan Baron Kekaisaran Pertama Prancis. Ia menjabat sebagai gubernur di Benteng Huningue selama pengepungan 1815 dan bertahan hingga akhir permusuhan, serta menyerahkan wilayah itu dengan penghormatan militer penuh pada 26 Agustus 1815. Ia meninggal di Paris pada usia 58 tahun, dan dimakamkan di Pemakaman Père Lachaise di area yang diperuntukkan bagi para marsekal dan jenderal Kekaisaran.
