I titoli sono stati infatti conquistati nel bob a due uomini dagli italiani Rinaldo Ruatti ed Enrico De Lorenzo e nel bob a quattro dai tedeschi occidentali Franz Schelle, Josef Sterff, Ludwig Siebert e Otto Göbl.
