(en) 외국판결의 승인(外國判決- 承認)은 외국법원의 판결의 효력을 인정해 주는 민사소송법상 제도로 국제적 사법생활관계 안정화, 국내법질서의 보호 등을 목적으로 한다. (ko) 判決承認（はんけつしょうにん）とは、ある国の裁判所が他の国（国によっては他の州）の裁判所が下した判決について、その国（州）の裁判所の判決と同様の効力のものとして認めることをいう。 (ja) Unter Exequaturverfahren versteht man das Verfahren der Zulassung ausländischer Vollstreckungstitel oder Schiedssprüche zur Zwangsvollstreckung im Inland (Exequatur). Dabei handelt es sich nicht um das Zwangsvollstreckungsverfahren; vielmehr werden in einem gegenständlich beschränkten Erkenntnisverfahren die Voraussetzungen der Anerkennung der Entscheidung und der Verleihung der Vollstreckbarkeit im Inland geprüft. Erst daran schließt sich die Zwangsvollstreckung an. Das Problem stellt sich immer dann, wenn ein Gläubiger im Ausland einen Titel erstritten hat, den er im Inland vollstrecken will. In der Regel ist dies nicht ohne weiteres möglich, vielmehr muss zunächst ein inländisches Gericht feststellen, ob die Voraussetzungen für die Vollstreckbarkeit vorliegen.
