David Doherty Norrie (born November 30, 1963) is a former American major college and professional football player who is best known for his long career as a college football game analyst for ESPN and ABC. Norrie was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1986 NFL Draft and played for the New York Jets in 1987. After spending the entire preseason on the Jets' roster, Norrie started two games at quarterback for the Jets during the 1987 NFL strike.
