| - خاراكس هي عاصمة مملكة ميسان العربية في جنوب العراق وإقليم الأحواز أسسها الملك حيسباوسنيز العربي عام 127 ق.م، ويعتقد ان اسكندر المقدوني قام بتشييد تلك المدينة وهي ميناء مهم على رأس الخليج العربي، وقد زارها الإمبراطور الروماني تراجان عام 116م ورأى السفن تغادر منها إلى الهند، وكان لها قوة عسكرية مهمة حيث احتلت بابل وسوسيانا وسيطرت على مناطق كثيرة في العراق واقليم الاحواز والضفة الشرقية والغربية للخليج العربي. - Η Αντιόχεια αυτή η Χάραξ κτίσθηκε από το Μέγα Αλέξανδρο στη χώρα της Βαβυλωνίας και Σουσιανής στις εκβολές του Τίγρη ποταμού με πρώτο όνομα Αλεξάνδρεια. Μετά όμως της καταστροφής της από πλημμύρες ανοικοδομήθηκε εκ νέου από τον Αντίοχο Δ΄ και μετονομάστηκε σε Αντιόχεια. Αργότερα ο Σπασίνος (γιος του Βασιλέως των Αράβων Σαγδανάκου) κατέλαβε αυτή και τη μετονόμασε σε Χάρακα (του Σπασίνου). (el)

- Càrax Espasinos (en grec antic Χάραξ Σπασίνου, en llatí Charax Spasinu) era una ciutat situada al sud de Babilònia o potser a la Susiana, propera al golf Pèrsic i a la boca del Tigris. Va donar el nom al districte sud de Babilònia que es va dir Caracene. La ciutat va portar diferents noms al llarg de la història. La va fundar Alexandre el Gran amb el nom d'Alexandria de Susiana (Ἀλεξάνδρεια) però un temps després va quedar destruïda per una inundació. Antíoc IV Epifanes la va restaurar i la va rebatejar amb el non d'Antioquia de Susiana (Ἀντιόχεια τῆς Σουσιανῆς). El 129 aC el sàtrapa de Caracene, el príncep iranià Hispaosines (Spasines), fill de Sogdonacus, es va fer independent i va situar la seva capital a Antioquia, a la que va canviar el nom posant-li Karax Spasinos, i va prendre el tí (ca)
- Charax Spasinu (altgriechisch Χάραξ Σπασίνου, Charax Spasinou), auch Spasinou Charax, war die Hauptstadt des antiken Reiches Charakene nordwestlich des heutigen Basra im Irak und nahe Abadan. Aus Charax Spasinu stammt unter anderem Isidoros von Charax. Charax Spasinu wird bei Plinius dem Älteren (Naturgeschichte 6,31) beschrieben, der vor allem ihre Dammanlagen rühmt. - Alejandría de Susiana era una antigua ciudad de Susiana, que fue fundada por Alejandro Magno en el 324 a. C., con el nombre de Alexandria ad Tigrim. Estaba emplazada cerca del Golfo Pérsico y de la desembocadura del río Tigris. Según Plinio el Viejo se hallaba situada «en una colina construida por la mano del hombre entre dos ríos que confluyen, el Tigris por la derecha y el Euleo por la izquierda». (es)
