Amantia (Greek: Ἀμάντια, Ἀβάντια; Latin: Amantia) was an ancient city and the main settlement of the Amantes, traditionally located in southern Illyria in classical antiquity. In Hellenistic times the city was either part of Illyria or Epirus. In Roman times it was included within Epirus Nova, in the province of Macedonia. The site has been identified with the village of , Vlorë County, Albania. Amantia was designated as an archaeological park on 7 April 2003 by the government of Albania.

  • Amantia (en griego, Ἀμάντια) fue una antigua polis griega​ al noroeste del Epiro, a unos 25 kilómetros aproximadamente de Búlice y 26 km de Orico. Estaba cerca de la frontera del Ilírico. A sus habitantes se les llamaba "amantinos" (Ἀμάντιεύς en griego, amantieus en latín). Su nombre es mencionado por vez primera en el siglo IV a. C. Se encuentra en la ladera de una alta colina y solo su acrópolis está fortificada. Para el siglo III a. C., la ciudad se fortaleció económicamente y acuñó sus propias monedas. (es)
