Alan Fraser Truscott (16 April 1925 – 4 September 2005) was a British-American bridge player, writer, and editor. He wrote the daily bridge column for The New York Times for 41 years, from 1964 to 2005, and served as Executive Editor for the first six editions of The Official Encyclopedia of Bridge from 1964 to 2002.

Truscott werd na zijn grootste successen als bridgespeler, voornamelijk bekend als de ontdekker van het valsspelen van Terence Reese en tijdens de Bermuda Bowl van 1965. Dit incident heeft bijgedragen aan de ontwikkeling van het spelen met tafelschermen om ontoelaatbaar signaleren tussen partners tegen te gaan.
