Es ist Teil des Netzwerkes internationaler Büros des American Jewish Committee, zu denen auch jene in Berlin und Paris zählen. Robert H. Elman ist Vorsitzender vom AJC Transatlantic Institute. 2011 wurde der deutsche Publizist Daniel Schwammenthal zum Direktor ernannt. Sein Vorgänger war der italienische Politologe Emanuele Ottolenghi, der zwischen 2006 und 2010 das Institut leitete. (de)

According to its mission statement, the AJC Transatlantic Institute works to promote "transatlantic cooperation for global security, Middle East Peace and human rights." It is part of the American Jewish Committee's network of international offices, other notable ones including those in Berlin and Paris. In 2011, Daniel Schwammenthal was named Director of the AJC Transatlantic Institute. He was preceded by Dr. Emanuele Ottolenghi. (en)
