| - رالي داكار 2021 هو النسخة الـ43 من رالي داكار، والثانية على التوالي التي استضافتها السعودية، بعد أن استضافت رالي داكار 2020، والذي كان أول نسخة تُقام في القارة الآسيوية. بدأ الرالي في 3 يناير واستمر حتى 15 يناير 2021، وانطلق من مدينة جدة وانتهى فيها. وشهدت هذه النسخة مرحلة رالي داكار الكلاسيكي والتي ضمّت سيارات وشاحنات قديمة من طراز ما قبل سنة 2000. - The 2021 Dakar Rally was a rally raid event held in Saudi Arabia and the 43rd edition of the Dakar Rally. The event was held for 14 days, starting from 3 January and ended 15 January 2021. It was the second time Saudi Arabia had hosted the event, with support from the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation. The race started and ended in Jeddah, allowing the competitors to venture through the desert and alongside the Red Sea. The route consists of one prologue stage and 12 normal stages, with one rest day in Ha'il on 9 January. The rally was originally intended to run through 2–3 additional countries, with Egypt and Jordan being rumoured likely candidates. Die Strecke führte zum zweiten Mal durch Saudi-Arabien über 7646 km (davon 4767 Wertungskilometer). Die 43. Ausgabe fand aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie nur in Saudi-Arabien statt. La competizione è iniziata a Gedda il 2 gennaio ed è terminata dopo 12 tappe nella stessa città il 15 gennaio. Il rally ha coperto una distanza complessiva di circa 8000 km, dei quali 5000 di prove speciali. La principale novità di questa edizione è l'introduzione della classe Dakar Classic, riservata ad automobili e camion precedenti al 2000 che affrontano un percorso parallelo a quello degli altri concorrenti.
