dbpprop:abstract	"Mashin' Duck Records was an American record label. They are known for releasing Soul Intent's music. Their studio was in either Manix's or Eminem's basement. Eminem, Manix and DJ Buttafingers released a two-track tape, as Soul Intent, entitled: \"F#@!i*n' backstabber\". The first track, also called \"F#@!i*n' backstabber,\" features now-deceased rapper Proof. The other song is called \"Biterphobia. \" The tape is extremely limited, as only 100 copies were made. It is now known that Eminem's mom, Debbie, has a lot of those and won't let them go. So an estimate on how many tapes floating around, would normally be on 15-25. The tape was released, with handwriting on it (a factory-pressed UK issue was released later; many more of these tapes are in existence). It also has a picture of a backstabber on the front, drawn by Eminem himself. \"Fuckin' Backstabber\" was Soul Intent's debut release. It was written and recorded in 1995 while Eminem was using the stage name \"M&M\". The single was recorded at Bassmint Productions, also known as Bassmint Sounds, which was F.B.T. 's recording studio at the time. The single was produced by Manix. The single's title track is \"dissing\" an African-American rapper called Champtown, who also came from Detroit and was a former friend of Eminem. Eminem had featured in one of his music videos and many songs. However, he suspected that Champtown was actually trying to get with his girlfriend Kim behind his back, which caused him to make this track. The opening skit on \"Fuckin' Backstabber\" is a recorded conversation between Champtown and Kim. The song features samples from The Pharcyde's On The D.L. , amongst a variety of samples from instruments, including pianos and saxophones, and is set to a typical rock drum-beat. \"Biterphobia\" is quite different. The track is quite upbeat. There is some scratching, it contains a guitar sample from \"Heaven on Their Minds\", taken from the motion picture Jesus Christ Superstar and samples the screaming noise from the theme song of the Japanese Spiderman show. The group has also performed \"Biterphobia\" live."@en ;
