When he was young he stayed with his family in rural Bangladesh, there he sacrificed a cow as part of the religious ceremony of Eid. Chowdhury has recorded solo material as well as his work with The Zutons, available on his MySpace page, but it is unknown if he plans to embark on a solo career. Boyan has started a new band called The Gravity Trap along with Ronnie Mintor previously of The Miracle Cure.
