The 2005 Africa Cup (Official name "Top 9") was the 6th edition of the continental rugby union tournament arranged by Confederation of African Rugby (CAR). It was won by Morocco, that defeated Madagascar in the final. The final was played at the "Stade de France" before the match between France and South Africa match of the 2005 South Africa rugby union tour of Argentina and Europe. The match was arranged in that venue, due to participation of South African Amateurs selection, who were surprisingly defeated in the semifinal by Madagascar.
La coupe d'Afrique de rugby 2005, également appelée Top 9, est une compétition organisée par la Confédération africaine de rugby qui oppose les 9 meilleures nations africaines. Le Maroc remporte cette édition en battant Madagascar en finale (43-6).
El Confederation of African Rugby Championship del 2005 fue la sexta edición del Torneo africano de naciones. El campeón fue Marruecos, obteniendo el segundo título en la competición.
L’Africa Cup 2005, ufficialmente CAR Top 9 2005 (in inglese 2005 CAR Top 9), fu il 6º campionato africano di rugby a 15 organizzato dalla Confédération africaine de rugby. Il torneo, disputato nelle sedi dei Paesi partecipanti, vide la propria finale ospitata in Francia a Gennevilliers, nell'area metropolitana di Parigi, in collaborazione con la Federazione francese. Ad aggiudicarsi l'edizione fu il Marocco, alla seconda affermazione nella competizione continentale, che superò il Madagascar per 43-6; selezione malgasci in grado di eliminare gli amatori sudafricani (in inglese South Africa Amateurs) in semifinale.

W walce o tytuł mistrzowski brało udział dziewięć zespołów, pozostałe drużyny, które przystąpiły do rozgrywek, występowały zaś w niższych dywizjach. Mecze zostały rozegrane w okresie od 23 kwietnia do 26 listopada 2005 roku. Dla części zespołów rozgrywki te stanowiły część do Pucharu Świata w Rugby 2007.

W walce o tytuł mistrzowski brało udział dziewięć zespołów, pozostałe drużyny, które przystąpiły do rozgrywek, występowały zaś w niższych dywizjach. Mecze zostały rozegrane w okresie od 23 kwietnia do 26 listopada 2005 roku. Dla części zespołów rozgrywki te stanowiły część do Pucharu Świata w Rugby 2007.
